The best place to store a shampoo or conditioner bar is on a soap dish, so it can drain & air dry properly between uses. The ingredients are water-activated, so if the bar remains wet it will soften and break down prematurely.

How long your bar lasts will depend on the length and thickness of your hair, how often you wash, and how you care for your bar.
On average, our bars should last for as many as 75 washes.
Because our shampoo bars are highly concentrated, you should be able to get as many washes out of them as 3 regular bottles of liquid shampoo, with no plastic bottle to dispose of afterward.
We recommend that you use our bars within a year of purchase. Be sure to keep them in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use them. Truthfully, you can store them for longer and it won’t have any impact on their effectiveness, but you may notice the scent start to fade, and the colour change slightly.
Once you start using a bar, be sure to store it in a way that will permit it to dry thoroughly between uses. A soap dish with proper drainage is ideal.
